Nambucca Heads – beach maternity & family photography

Melissa and Abe were stoked to welcome their third kiddo, a baby girl. Their two boys were pumped about getting a little sis real soon. This fam was all about the beach, and since they’re Gumbayngirr First Nation, they decided to do their maternity shoot on sacred Gumbayngirr land at Shelly beach in Nambucca Heads.

When they hit the coast, the boys went nuts, diving into the waves and digging in the sand like there was no tomorrow. Melissa was just her gorgeous self, glowing with that mama-to-be vibe, the ocean breeze making her hair dance.

The photographer caught all the magic—the boys’ beach shenanigans, Melissa’s radiant smile, and the love buzzing between them. Every snap was a reminder of their deep bond and connection to their roots.

As the sun dipped low, painting the sky in hues of gold, Melissa and Abe hugged tight, grateful for the blessings heading their way. With their boys by their side and a baby girl on the horizon, life couldn’t get any sweeter for this beach-loving, Gumbayngirr fam.
